Living With a Mask

For this post I don't have a real topic to talk about, so I am just giving to you what is on my heart. Right now we not only as a nation, but also in the world are fighting against this ugly virus called Covid-19. We all have heard about it, its all over the news, and its changed everything in our lives. It has changed where we go, who we can see, and who we can touch. Schools have closed, churches have closed, many places have closed to say the least. Something no one ever envisioned to happen, ever. Many people have died, many are putting their lives on the front lines to fight this virus head on. We appreciate all the medical teams working long hours and who are sacrificing being able to be around their families because of the exposure to the virus.
"If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together."
1 Corinthians 12:26

I pray during this time we come more together as a nation, under God. I pray during this time we don't take things for granted. I pray during this time that be repent of our sins and become closer to our Savior. I pray that people deal with their emotions better, I pray suicidal thoughts diminish and Satan not have foot hold on anyone. For the evil thoughts to flee in Jesus name! I pray that people see the love of the Lord and love themselves how He sees them. I pray that we will show more respect to one another. I pray marriages will be restored, and for there to be less selfishness in this world. I pray for peace. I ask for you to join me in praying for these things for our world.
Let's not only get to remove the masks that we have been having to wear everywhere recently, but also the ones we sometimes tend to put up to hide what we are going through inside. We weren't made to do things alone, but Satan tricks us into thinking that we are alone in our hurt and stench. There are so many people that love you and want to love you if you let your emotional mask down. You have to love yourself first, through God's eyes.
"And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."
Colossians 3:14
